i appeared in channel 8, tuesday report just now leh!!! hahahah. the story was about uncle ru hen, a rich volunteer who went all around the country to help the poor. mum and i went Myanmar in 2008 to help out, uncle ruhen really thought me alot about giving, loving and caring. his truly the kindest man on earth.his the one wearing blue polo tee standing in the middle, smiling brightly in the picture below.
the show brought me back to the days when i was quite involved in volunteering.
the Myanmar trip, where the smiles on the villagers face when they saw our donations, were really so valuable, and thousands of orphans thanked us as if we were God.
and also the china trip to leprosy village with habitat for humanity in 2007, where every villagers treat each other sincerely. it was really an experience that change my whole life and my passion was discovered.
all the sat cleaning ups at old folks house and flag days. and all the SP leo club events.....
thinking of those day, i feel so disappointed in myself.
since the day i began my busy life, doing two jobs everyday, working every sat, earning and enjoying to the fullest, i've actually neglected my interest in volunteering ): seriously, i find that money has really took away lots of my time.. now i'm becoming so lazy to even study, and i desperately need to sleep whenever i'm free...
can i be energetic just like last time? ):
