was discussing with mum about Venerable ming yi's incident while she cycled me to mrt.. regarding this issue, i am utterly disappointed !
i told mum that God had completely taken away our greatest hope. he is a monk, A BUDDHIST ! i thought Buddhist are all self-less?
it really disgusts me when some wealthy people can actually act deceitfully to get what they want, those people have no heart at all to consider that the poor ones have lack so many of the things they consider necessities. this kind of behaviour has brought disgrace on the whole world. i repeat again and again, i hate to be in a rich world full of deception ):<

but today, mum had completely change my mindset. she told me : see deep. see deep that you realise that the world is ugly, not because of those people. see till you realise that there is ugliness in your mind, and it only exists in your mind. she asked me, do you know the truth before you judge him? i began to reflect upon myself. ya right, my mindset is so damn wrong. mum strongly believe that he didn't do on purpose, now i believe he didn't do it too ! because i always believe that all Buddhist are self-less. she's right, a beautiful heart is one that sees beauty all around, it even sees the hidden beauty in what the world sees as ugliness. the world is still pretty. although there were some little deceits, donor still believe the poor depend entirely on them, good people still exist and i will learn to appreciate (: i should have an open heart, 'happiness' in mandarin is kai xin, which means 'open-heartedness'.
i have learned one important lesson today.
we should need only our needs, not want more wants.

i think MUM is the most beautiful person, beauty makes sense only when it is felt in the heart, there is nothing more beautiful than a kind heart like hers.
