im ready to blog about the trip (:

JUNE
DAY ONE. 12th
met venessa and her dad drove us there. we saw beautiful sun raise (: then we reached changi. was really excited like mad cos it was the first time taking aeroplane. was quite disappointed cos i sat in the middle, did not see how the plane take off. anyway, i really love taking aeroplane. there were moments when i feel like im in the roller coaster(: soon we arrived in hk. hk is really super nice place. lots of mountains and so green ! we went cathy city to meet the hk student. so we interact and played games. they are nice people.. after this, we went to regal riverside hotel.when me and venessa went in to our room and pulled the curtain. we were so excited and hugging each other. hah. we can see river and swimming pool :D then we board the bus using octopus card (ezlink card in s'pore) and went to the biggest shopping mall in shatin, but there not much things to buy there, perhaps not enough time. went back to hotel. first night and so i couldnt sleep, listened to mp3 to sleep.

DAY TWO 13TH
woke up early. met for prayer before breakfast. we had buffet (: nice food ! then boarded the bus to house cleaning project area at Lei Tung Estate. the scenery round the estate is damn nice. really could feel the real fresh air cos mountains and sea are just beside. me and vene group with katherine.and we went to the elderly house to do cleaning up. cleaned the toilet bowl and the windows. that elderly keep saying thanks to me and that we wiped the windows very clean(: we sat down and chat. we then went to have our lunch. we ate greentea icecream in mcdonal, i swear its really nice and you cant find in s'pore. then we bought cheap cheap cakes and walked around and bought mask. at that time my face cracked like old woman cos i cant adapt in cold environment (in the hotel). after that we proceeded to another elderly house. this time we did not clean up cos they said they always do themselves. so we sat down and chat for long time until i nearly fell asleep cos they speaks in cantonese and we couldnt understand. was really tiring cos the cleaning stuff was heavy, but still glad that the elderlys were happy. then we went to causeway bay. it was a shopping street like bugis. brought two cardigen at 10 sing dollar each and a grandma shirt for my grandma. after dinner went back to hotel to wash up(: then walked near the hotel with hanwen and others. was raining heavily. we had a sweet night.

DAY THREE 14TH
woke up early. we packed up and went for breakfast. board bus to hk ferry terminal which took about one hour. then board the ferry to macau. was really tiring ! cos we have to move our lauggage here and there. then we were on our way to china huazhou and it took around 4 to 5 hours. wa lao, the total travel time was like from morning till night, around 10 hrs. but that includes lunch. and theres something i want to clarify.CHINA IS A SUPER NICE PLACE YOU CANT IMAGINE! some ppl hear about china they will say, EEee. dun look down becos its reli beautiful place. i saw natural waterfall and the agriculture is like so golden yellow and is nicely trim !
then finally we reached fei long hotel.we went for dinner. the hotel was dark and scary. so the scaredy cats slept together, includes me, george, grace, tiff. its a tiring day so we had a good night, but if only theres no lizards sound in the middle of the night.

DAY FOUR 15TH
breakfast was scary. same as last night dinner. beef noodle, i dun eat beef. after lunch we proceed to work site. the path to the village was so bumpy. the driver managed to get thru all obstacles. when we reached there. i get so excited of the SUPER BIG POOL OF DUNG. hah. the elderlys were there to welcome us. they had leprosy but they dun look bad, just that some doesnt have palms or legs. we had our briefing and started working. first i was at the dumping area. but moved to help out at the other area. lunch was simple, plain rice, vege and egg, others had beef. after lunch i went futher into the village with mr koo, wanping the camera man, wee kiang and tiff. played with the super cute and fluffy chicken and saw the villagers' houses. was quite sad for them. we had everything they dun have, yet people here dun cherish it. ): anyway, continued working. at times wanted to give up but somehow, i gained energy from the villagers and frens who were working hard. we digged the soil and moved the soil in the wheelbarrows to the dumping area (: we walked round in the village and IM IN LOVE WITH CHICKENS ! hah.we said goodbye and board the bus. everyday after work they will bring us to supermarket and so i brought food(: had a good night. slept throughout the night to prepare another day obstacles.

DAY FIVE 16TH
as usual. woke up early in the morning. same beef noodle and same others but something special today (that congee). proceed to work site. started working. dig dig dig. and my biscep started to grow(: had the same food for lunch for the three working days, big pool of plain rice, cabbage, longbeans and egg (: taste fresh and nice. dawn, the producer of frontline came to interview. it took me so much time cos i keep N G-ing.. really felt uncomfortable with the camera. i became an actress(: continue to dig and finally, round 5 we stopped. said goodbye and board the bus to supermarket then to hotel. had a good bath(: almost same food for dinner. beef noodle again, but i dun eat beef(: slept so late cos we were chatting with dawn(:



DAY SIX 17TH
THE MOST MEMORABLE DAY IN MY WHOLE LIFE
THE GIFT OF LOVE
the last day of work. as usual. breakfast almost the same but still enjoyed it. dawn and wanping went to work site early to take some shots. so when we reached, the villagers clapped their hands and welcome us(: we started working. as usual, digged the soil as much as we could. as usual, lunch together but today special(: added sambal chilli and ms jasmine special sauce(:
after lunch, i went to this villager to talk to her, she speaks in cantonese. couldnt understand but dawn (beside me taking shot) told me that she said shes very happy that we came and helped them. i asked some questions and felt so sorry for her.
she seriously inspired me. she doesnt have legs. she used bricks and a board with wheels to move herself around. shes really.. i just dunno how to describe her.she is the real successful person because she accept life as it is.

anyway, then we continued digging till ah du came.wanping took some shots of me and him working and it might be show on the tv(: and being an actress is soo not fun. so embarassing when ppl were looking. hah.



after all the hard work, we ended earlier and went to FATHER's house for lunch again. because its our last day, and is father's day and FATHER's birthday. i sat with the villagers and talk to them. they are really nice people. they keep telling me to eat more and we chat happily(: seriously, i felt true love surrounding us. (: after the lunch, theres still lots of leftovers, guess what. they poured all of the food together in only one plastic bag. mixed them all together, even the cakes. look, how blessed we are. they didnt want to waste even a single drip of sauce. we cleaned up the whole place, i swept the floor(: after that, we sang the song AMAZING GRACE to the villagers. ah du went back and its time to say goodbye to the villagers. the farewell was a teary one for me. wanted to hug all of them so tightly. i have fallen in love with the village and the villagers. thought thru so much on the bus. ive found my dream !!! seriously found a goal that i want to accomplish ! ive found the true meaning of life ! :D

DAY SIX 18th
travel back to hk. went to the peak. then nu ren jie. tried the food there, its like super nice and cheap(: then travel to regal airport hotel. (: nice hotel ! like that room so much. went gym at the hotel. then me chenning and vene went to airport ate ajisen (: chenning came our room, so we all slept together.

DAY SEVEN 19TH
REWARD TIME !
had breakfast buffet in hotel. met hk student went cathay to tour. had lunch with them (: then went disney land(: me, chenning, vene, eugene, katika, ernie wlked together. played SPACE MOUNTAIN ! how i wish s'pore theme park have this ride ! seriously its so real like im in the space(: hang around there till about 8pm and watch fire works(: then went back hotel. wasnt happy that day :( at night went airport with eugene and vene.

DAY EIGHT 20TH
TIME TO SAY GOODBYE ):
saw the areoplane take off(: beautiful! took cab with dawn home.

i will miss hk and chagen village.
i dont want to be in singapore ):
